At Centurion Medical Group, we operate as a multi-disciplinary group of Pre-Hospital Medical Professionals from First Responder to Consultant Doctor and everything in between.

Scope of Practice / Skill Set Requirements and Expectations:

FR3 – Level 3 First Responder
Holds a Minimum of a Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (FREC3) or Industry Standard Equivalent Qualification.

FR4 – Level 4 First Responder
Holds a Minimum of a Level 4 Award in First Response Emergency Care (FREC4) or Industry Standard Equivalent Qualification

ECA – Emergency Care Assistant
As FR4 Above, but with Added Industry Standard Emergency Driving Qualification and Safe Administration of Lifesaving Medications Qualification or Industry Standard Equivalent.

EMT – Ambulance Technician
Holds a Minimum of a ‘Associate Ambulance Practitioner’, ‘First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (FREUC5) Level 5’, ‘IHCD Ambulance Aid – Technician’, Diploma in Emergency Care or Industry Standard Equivalent Qualification.

HCPC Paramedic
Registered as such with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), with no historic or ongoing Fitness to Practice or Registrant Disciplinary Actions.

Specialist Paramedic or Nurse / Paramedic or Nurse Practitioner / ECP / ACP / ENP / ANP / UCP / Prescribers
To be discussed at Interview, Appropriate Qualifications and proof of continued competence will be required.

NMC Nurse
Registered as such with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), with no historic or ongoing Fitness to Practice or Registrant Disciplinary Actions.

GMC Doctor
Consultant or Senior Registrar Level Doctors, Registered as such with the General Medical Council (GMC), with no historic or ongoing Fitness to Practice or Registrant Disciplinary Actions.

Student Healthcare Professionals
We welcome applications from Student Healthcare Professionals and will discuss your options on a case by case basis. We do expect that all student healthcare professionals also hold a pre-hospital qualification of at least “First Responder”, in order to work autonomously. We will also provide mentored working opportunities where appropriate.

Recruitment Process – What to Expect

Once you’ve completed the Application form via the AmbuNet System, and sent us any supporting documentation, your application will be reviewed by our team. If you’re successfully shortlisted, you’ll be invited to attend an Interview (which will either be “in Person” or using “Teams/Zoom”.

On Succesful completion of the Interview, you’ll be invited to one of our Induction/Assessment Dates at one of our Hub Locations. This will give you an opportunity to meet some of the team, and showcase your abilities.
